(KPL) Save the Children Australia and the European Commission-Humanitarian Aid and Civil Protection has provided 81 tonnes of rice, household utensils, construction materials and some relief fund worth 897 million kip, to relieve the flood victims in Sayaboury province.
The aid was handed over by Director of the Save the Children Australia to Laos to Vice-Governor of Sayaboury province Mr. Bounyang Chandalasane, in Sayaboury province, on 22 July.
“The aid package will be then distributed to elderly, people with disability and poor families who have been affected by the Haima typhoon in 27 villages between 24-26 June,” said Mr. Bounyang.
