Three Laotians arrested during a joint Vietnam-Laos drug trafficking bust
Border guards in the central province of Quang Tri told the press Thursday they had cooperated with Laotian police to bust a gang of smugglers trafficking 10,000 synthetic drug tablets into the country from Laos Wednesday.
The joint forces arrested three Laotians, all of whom are from Savannakhet Province, during the bust.
The suspects told police that they bought the drugs in their home province and then met up with Vietnamese smugglers to transport the contraband into Vietnam by car.
