Recycling plant for waste disposal to operate next two years
(KPL) A huge volume of garbage, approximately 500 tonnes daily in Vientiane Capital expects to be disposed systematically through recycling plant next two years that will be built at the garbage dump, km 32.
The construction of recycling plant for waste disposal in Vientiane Capital is a joint venture between Khouane Meung Group Co., Ltd of Laos, Green Circles Energy and Recycling Co., Ltd of Israel and Thai Freshco Inter-trade Co., Ltd.
The shareholders signed a joint investment agreement with worth of US$30 million in Vientiane Capital on 16 November after Vientiane Capital Administration gave green light this week.
Director General of Green Circles Energy and Recycling Co., Ltd of Israel, Mr Adam Avisky which his company had more than 40 years experience in recycling garbage has pledged to provide technical and technology assistance, and even recycling machines to Laos.
This plant will reduce greenhouse effect and 500 tonnes of garbage daily in Vientiane Capital while only 350 tonnes have been disposed.
The recycling plant will focus on three keys of reduce, reuse and recycle, said Managing Director of Freshco Inter-trade Co, Mr Yanapon Chaichanawongsarot.
The machine with waste disposal capacity of 500 tonnes per day that is lower than normal machine with capacity of 1,500 tonne will import from Israel, said President of Khouane Meung Group Co, Mr Khamla Nackhavong. The first phase of thee recycling plants construction worth of US$9 million will commence next week.
The first plant will be used scraps separation for fuel energy, second for producing gas energy and last one for diesel.
