PANO - A delegation from the Quang Nam Provincial Border Guard Command, on December 1 st , paid visits to troops at the Dac Ta Ooc Border Gate in Dac Chung District of the Province and the Border Guard’s Company 104 in Se Kong Province, Laos.
At the meeting, Phinlachan Thanhuong, Head of Company 104, welcomed the Quang Nam Border Guard’s visit on the occasion of the 36 th anniversary of the Lao National Day (December 2 nd , 1975), and he believed that the visit demonstrated the special solidarity, friendship and comprehensive cooperation ties between Quang Nam and Se Kong in particular, and Vietnam and Laos in general.
Over the past years, two sides have effectively conducted coordination in defending the border, patrols and customs procedures, under the motto of defending and building a peaceful and friendly borderline.
On the same day, Quang Ninh-Se Kong border forces visited Border Marker 717 at the Nam Giang Border Gate, removed trees around Markers 717(1) and 717(2), and held a joint patrol to Marker 719.
