Lao military delegation visit Thua Thien-Hue Province
PANO - A Lao high-ranking military delegation, led by Lieutenant-General Chanxamon Channhalat, Deputy-Defence Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, visited the central Province of Thua Thien-Hue on December 1st.
During his visit, the General visited the Provincial Military College and Vocational Military Training College 23, under the Vietnam Ministry of Defence. At a meeting, Colonel Vo Ngoc Phat, Head of the Military College, briefed the Lao delegation on providing local trainees with national defence-security knowledge, training Lao officers over the past years, and the vocational training at College 23.
The General thanked his host for the reception and praised the two colleges’ achievements. He also said that the visit would make contributions to strengthening the traditional ties between the two nations’ parties, states, armies and people.
