(KPL) On 30 October, Mr. Sommat Pholsena, Minister for Public Works and Transport and Mr. U Khin Maung Myint, Minister for Construction of Myanmar and senior officials from two sides visited Luangnamtha province to survey the construction site for Mekong River crossing bridge in Long district.
The delegation received a warm welcome from Mr. Phimmasone Leungkhamma, Governor of Luangnamtha province and his senior officials.
A working session between Laos and Myanmar was also held on 31 October in Luangnamtha province to discuss on matters related to Mekong River-crossing Bridge that links between Laos and Myanmar and construction works to be carried out.
The bridge will be constructed between Ban Xiengkok, Long district in Lao side and Chianglab district, Tachileik
