PANO – Involved forces of the south-western Chinese Province of Yunnan and the Vietnamese border guard force in the northern Vietnamese Province of Lao Cai have successfully rescued 12 Vietnamese females, who were victims of human trafficking into China.

Recently, Chinese involved forces cooperated with the Vietnamese in investigating a human trafficking case. They caught a Vietnamese woman named Bui Thi Thu, dwelling in Bao Tang District, Lao Cai Province, who led a network to illegally bring Vietnamese females into China.

According to the victims, they had been told to go with Thu to China to get well-paid jobs.

However, when they were in China, Thu took them to her Chinese partners and sold them at RMB 3,000 each.

At this point, the Vietnamese human trafficking criminal and all the 12 Vietnamese female victims have been handed over to Vietnamese involved forces and Vietnamese investigators are continuing to further investigate into the case in order to clarify the tricks and any others involved in the case.
