PANO - On behalf of the Lao State and Government, Deputy Governor of Savannakhet Province, Khamphoi Phanthachon, offered Lao noble orders to 5 groups and 2 individuals in Can Tho city on November 7th.
The Lao President presented second-class Freedom (Issara) Orders and Itsala Orders to the Can Tho City Party Committee, People’s Committee, Fatherland Front Committee and Department of Foreign Affairs, while Mr. Tran Thanh Man, Secretary of the City Party Committee and Mr. Nguyen Thanh Son, Chairman of the Can Tho People’s Committee got second and third-level Itsala Orders, respectively.
In addition, Laos also granted the Friendship Order to the Can Tho University.
In the past, these medalists made remarkable contributions to improving friendly relations between Lao Savannakhet Province, with Vietnam’s localities and organizations, bringing into play the two nations’ special relationship and comprehensive cooperation.
