Nation fosters Party inspection activities with Laos

VIENTIANE (VNS) — Viet Nam and Laos will continue boosting co-operation and experience exchanges, both theoretically and practically, in the supervision and inspection of Party organisations and members.

The agreement was reached during talks between Mai The Duong, member of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee and Standing Vice Chairman of the Committee's Central Inspection Commission, and his Lao counterpart Thongsy Oantasy in Vientiane yesterday.

Both host and guest expressed their delight at the achievements gained by the two in recent times, especially the close co-operation and effective implementation of the high-level agreements of the two Parties and States.

They also agreed to work together in combating fraud and corruption in order to forge more effective links between the two commissions, as well as contributing to nurturing the special ties between the two neighbouring countries.
