CHICAGO - Three Minnesota women were arrested at O'Hare International Airport after $3 million worth of heroin was found in their luggage.
The women, identified as 57-year-old Pa Yang, 58-year-old Mai Vue Vang, both of St. Paul, and 52-year-old True Thao, of Brooklyn Center, were passengers on an international flight from Japan to O'Hare on May 10.
During a screening of passengers and luggage by U.S. Customs agents, numerous small packets of heroin and opium were found in their bags.
The total amount weighed approximately 70 pounds, with an estimated street value of more than $3 million.
