We do not know how many fishes are going to be impacted that feed people diet as well. How much sediment will be held back that feed into farming communities that need for agricultural and economic development? We just do not know. But it is also dangerous and risky for Laos itself because this is out of control process.”
“You know Thailand, which in the past, was the largest off taker or purchaser of power from Laos. It builds Xayaboury dam and other dams in Laos. It is no longer as a needy for this hydropower being built outside its border.”
