President of Chorphaisane Motor (CPS Motor), Mr. Phaisane Manychem, has presented one ambulance worth 200 million kip to the Vientiane province to further present to Vientiane Provincial Hospital.
The ambulance is installed with emergency medical and first aid equipment.
“The assistant equipment will be used for rescuing and hospitalising patients and victims,” said Deputy Director of Vientiane Provincial Hospital, Dr Somyoth Douangphachanh.
“The company will further give one fire truck to Vientiane province in the near future,” said Mr. Phaisane.
The handover of the assistance took place at the Vientiane Provincial Administration Office on Wednesday 21 between President of Chorphaisane Motor, Mr. Phaisane Manychem and Governor of Vientiane Province, Mr. Khammeung Phongthady.
Witnessing the handover of the assistance was Deputy Director of Vientiane Provincial Hospital, Dr. Somyoth Douangphachanh and relevant officials and authorities.
“For years the Vientiane Provincial Hospital has used only one ambulance to take patients to hospital in Vientiane Capital and they had to do this twice a week and during the celebration of the Lao New Year, they had to take patients to hospital in Vientiane Capital five times per day,” said Dr. Somyoth.
