Vice President Bounnhang Vorachit, along with other Party and State leaders, paid their last respects to the late Mr. Soulivong Prasittideth, former deputy minister of foreign affairs at his cremation on Sunday.
Reading a moving eulogy, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Thongloun Sisoulith praised the late deputy minister for his devotion to the nation, his foreign affairs professions and his overall involvement in national development.
Mr. Soulivong Prasittideth died heart failure on 28 December. He was 77 years old.
Mr. Soulivong Prasittideth served in the ministry of foreign affairs for many years.
