Copper and gold miner PanAust has forecast an increase in production from its major operation in Laos and a rise in earnings.
PanAust said it produced 59,897 tonnes of copper in concentrate in the year to December 31 at its Phu Kham operation, within its previously issued guidance range.
The company has forecast production of between 63,000 and 65,000 tonnes of copper in concentrate in 2012 at Phu Kham.
