Vietnam National Guard High Command honoured with Lao order

Nhan Dan – The Vietnam National Guard High Command under the Ministry of Public Security was presented with the Freedom Order, first class, a noble award of the Party and State of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic at a ceremony in Hanoi on February 23.
The event was attended by Secretary of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party Central Committee and Minister of Public Security Thoongban Sengaphon; Senior Lieutenant-general, Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee (CPVCC) member, Deputy Minister of Public Security Dang Van Hieu; Lieutenant-general, CPVPCC member and Deputy Minister of Public Security To Lam; and Deputy Minister of Public Security Tran Viet Tan.
Over the past years, Vietnamese and Lao guards have worked closely together and effectively in training and exchanging their experiences in ensuring security and protecting high-ranking leaders.
The collaboration has contributed to deepening the traditional friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive co-operation between Vietnam and Laos and strengthened the bond between the police of the two countries.
