Nhan Dan – National carrier Lao Airlines will open a direct route from Da Nang, Vietnam and Pakse - Savannakhet in Laos in mid-April, according to the Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
Lao Airlines is expected to operate three flights per week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, using ATR72 aircraft with a capacity of 60 passengers.
A daily flight will depart from Pakse at 9am and arrive in Savannakhet at 9:30am, then leave Savannakhet at 10:10am and arrive in Da Nang at 11:40am. The final connecting flight will take off from Da Nang at 14:10pm and land in Savannakhet at 14:40pm.
The air route will meet the travel demands of nearly seven thousand passengers including overseas Vietnamese and tourists from the Northeast region of Thailand.
