The Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) Central Committee has sent a message of congratulations to the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (LPRP) Central Committee on the Lao Party’s 57 th founding anniversary.
On this occasion, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Ta Minh Chau also extended his congratulations to leaders of the LPRP, the Central Committee and all party members.
At his meeting on March 21 with Bounpon Buttanavong, Politburo member and Secretary of the LPRP Central Committee, Ambassador Chau highlighted achievements recorded by the Lao people under the leadership of the LPRP over the past 57 years.
He said he believes that the Lao fraternal people will continue obtaining greater achievements, successfully implementing their 9 th Party Congress’ Resolution.
The diplomat affirmed that Vietnam will do its best to together with the Lao Party, State and people foster the two countries’ special relationship, with a focus on the implementation of programmes in the Vietnam-Laos Solidarity and Friendship Year, 2012.
Bounpon Buttanavong said the achievements by the Lao people over the past 57 years could not be separated from Vietnam ’s impartial and effective assistance.
Also the same day, Ambassador Chau conveyed flowers and a congratulatory message from the CPV General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong to LPRP General Secretary and State President Chummaly Saynhasone.
