Deputy Defence Minister welcomes Lao planning and finance officials

Deputy Defence Minister Senior Lieutenant-General Le Huu Duc welcomed a delegation of the Planning and Finance Department under the Laos Defence Ministry, led by Lieutenant Colonel Khamphan, Deputy Director of the Department, on the afternoon of August 21st in Hanoi.
The Lao delegation’s visit aims to carry out a cooperation plan between the Finance Department, under the Vietnam Defence Ministry, and the Lao Department in 2012.
At the reception, the Vietnamese General highly valued the coordination and exchange of finance-related experience between the two departments.
In the coming time, the Vietnam Defence Ministry will create the best conditions for the Finance Department to share experiences with and provide assistance for the Lao Planning and Finance Department to fulfil their fiscal work.
For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Khamphan briefed Senior Lieutenant-General Le Huu Duc on the result of the delegation’s working with the Finance Department under the Vietnam Defence Ministry. He also expressed gratitude to the Deputy Defence Minister for his warm reception.
