Central province reburies more remains of Vietnamese martyrs
72 sets of remains of Vietnamese voluntary soldiers and experts who died in Laos were solemnly
reburied at a cemetery in Do Luong district in the Central province of Nghe An on April 24th
These remains, including 14 identified ones, were searched and repatriated by a special team of the Nghe An provincial Command during the 2012-2013 dry season in Xieng Khouang province and Vientiane (Laos).
Over the past 29 years, Nghe An province has worked with Lao authorities and people in Xieng Khouang and Vientiane to collect and bring home more than 12,000 sets of remains of Vietnamese soldiers and experts.
